FAQs
Where do you get your plants from?
The majority of our plants are propagated by us from our own plants (in our very little 1200 x 2400 greenhouse!) which is why we don’t have large numbers of each variety of plant to sell. We also want to make sure each plant have established roots and show signs of new growth before being ready to go to its new home. Our motto is growing slowly with care, you can't rush mother nature when she's crafting perfection!
What if I have a unicorn plant I've been after but I don't see it on your page?
We'd be more than happy to help you track down the plant of your dreams! Feel free to send us an email and we will endeavour to find it for your through our vast network of planty contacts.
Can I track my order?
Yes! Once your order has been shipped we will send you a tracking number, and you can access the order status here - www.nzpost.co.nz/tools/tracking
Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do! Unfortunately due to our bio security laws we cannot ship live plants but we’d be happy to help you out with just about anything else. Send us an email to get a customised shipping quote.
Do you have a brick and mortar store for pickups?
We don't have a brick and mortar store yet, but we do offer pickups. We do however hope to have a physical store in the near future so watch this space!
.
How are your products packaged?
We have been sending plants and other items through the mail for many years before starting ItsyLeaf. Rest assured we pack our plants to the best of our abilities! All plants are sent in packaged securely in boxes to help them make the journey in the post. Almost all packaging we use is from a sustainable point of view, we pack the majority of items with paper based products, any bubble wrap you may see pop up very occasionally in your packaging is repurposed as well. Many of our cartons are made from recycled paper and we use paper tape to seal all cartons too. Please recycle any packaging you get from us responsibly.
